Today, I made a great classic crumb cake. After my mom came back from working out at the gym, I surprised her with some herbal tea and this cake. She was able to sit back and I was glad to be able to help her relax. This is great for an afternoon tea or along with your breakfast!
Ingredients:Cake
- 1 1/4 sticks of unsalted butter
- 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups sour cream
Ingredients:Streusel
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 sticks butter

The bad thing about BiancaVision is that it makes me hungry!
Actually, I like your show a lot. Keep it up! And send me some cookies!

Great job! I met your Dad and he told me about this site and I have now used two different recipes.
I made this one and took it into work and everyone loved it.
You even got my kids’ attention too; they watched the video a couple times while I was making the cake.

This is great stuff and you should be commended for doing it Bianca. Just read about your blog on the Scoble blog and when I checked it out was very impressed. So much so that I added a new link section for Fun Blogs on my own blog and yours is the first listing on it.
Keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing you on the Food Network someday with your show right after Everyday Italian with Giada.
Now to find something to eat…..

Love that crumb cake. Just made something similar myself. Seems sort of cruel feeding high-calorie, but such good-tasting crumb cake to your mom after a workout! There goes all the burned calories from the workout.
